Who We Are
Jack's Jackpot Lottery is the name of the Lottery being operated by The Richard Foundation (parent organisation of the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice).
The Richard Foundation takes its name from Richard Cooper - a brave young boy who was 5 years old when he was diagnosed with a rare degenerative disease called Ataxia Telangiectasia, the effects of which quickly led to increasing disability. He then developed cancer and endured frequent hospital admissions and intensive treatments with unpleasant side effects.
The Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice will offer a flexible approach to allow families to choose how they make use of our services. We have found a new location near Dinnington, South Yorkshire. It must be noted that a children's hospice is somewhat different from an adult hospice in that every town or city will have it's own adult hospice due to the sheer numbers demanding places. A children's hospice will serve a greater geographical region encompassing several towns. Therefore, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice is a regional charity, local to the children and families of Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Worksop and Doncaster.
The Richard Foundation (parent organisation of Jack's Jackpot Lottery and the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice) is registered charity no. 1076958. The Richard Foundation is also a company limited by guarantee and registered in England & Wales no. 03809663. Within the context of this Privacy Policy, both organisations will be individually recognised.
