We want to thank you for your support for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. Our fundraising efforts began back in 1998 and the hospice building, situated on a 6.5 acre site next to a peaceful nature reserve, has now been completed. We will shortly be welcoming the first children and their families for respite, palliative and end of life care.

Our hospice will provide specialist care for over 200 children in the South Yorkshire and North Midlands area. We are currently working with around 70 families who are caring for children with life limiting and life threatening conditions. We are also providing bereavement support to 12 families whose children have sadly died in the last year. As the hospice opens its doors, we estimate that we will need to raise £2.4 million a year to cover all the running costs.
